Humeroscapula dislocation; shoulder dislocation

The disease in brief

It is excessive flexion of the joint that causes dislocation; its frequency is low, following falls and various accidents.

A limb removed from support, a suddenly swollen and deformed joint suggest dislocation; palpation of the scapulohumeral joint which shows a widened joint space or a crepitation-joint cracking reinforces the suspicion.
