The disease in brief
These are cattle subjected to a diet insufficient in overall quantity or quality, without remarkable specific deficiency. The animals are thin; their insufficient muscle mass causes the abdominal belt to relax, giving the appearance of a large belly on a lean cattle.
Clinic & diagnosis
A lean bovine which shows distended left and right sides, giving a pear shape; on some, the succussion of the sides reveals a liquid content.
